SIDE QUEST 5

I'm required to create my own pressed flower poetry page and design the pages to be my own form of personal expression, representing my emotions, thoughts or ideas.

In other words, create a POEM with PRESSED FLOWERS around it.

Yeah, now that's in simple English. Bazinga!

First, I wrote the typography using an oblique pen with a Zebra G nib and Pelikan black ink. It looks perfect until I noticed some smudges of ink.

WUTTT? No, no, no, don't tell me it's happening all over again! #perfectionist #thatdamnink

Well, I dislike getting my pieces dirty. And rule #1 in art screams CLEAN COMPOSITION. Well, I am basically stuck (temporary) and continued with the progress of sticking the flowers with cellophane tape.

After a few weeks, the ink smudges stunk my eyes again and I have a brilliant idea! I used correction liquid to destroy that invading ink smudges.

For me, ideas and solutions do come when I choose to "take a break and have a KitKat." No wonder my former Physics teacher used to say when our class pro physics guy can't solve a problematic question:

"Go take a shower, and when you come back, you sure know the answer."
