Furniture Design

To understand how to make a furniture, one should understand the technicality as well as the idea generation. So, for assignment 1, I get a feel of the machinery at the wood working lab by doing my own wooden suitcase! For assignment 2, I get to ideate my own furniture.

ASSIGNMENT 1 - BOX

Using finger joints, the box is made with MDF & plywood.

ASSIGNMENT 2 - GETAWAY CHAIR

With Roman Curule Chair arc as an inspiration, I further develop the chair into my Getaway Chair!

I also get to experiment in scaled model making.
